bio
I was born in 1991 in Vic, near Barcelona. I grew up between drawing, writing and reading, trying to understand how images and language shape the worlds we inhabit. I never learned to separate them.
Today I live and work between Leipzig and Berlin, moving between artistic practice, research, cultural management and art education. My work unfolds through painting, text and graphico-plastic processes, circling the question of how art enters the social and political — not as symbol, but as a force that can reconfigure structures and offers unexplored ways in story-telling.
I studied fine arts at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee in Berlin, where I later completed my Meisterschüler degree, and spent time at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Before that, I studied philosophy and comparative literature in Barcelona. What remains, more than anything, is a practice of close reading: images, systems, gestures, cultural frames.
Since 2025, I have been preparing a PhD on the conditions under which artistic production and critique take place and circulate.
In 2023, after the birth of my child, I founded the independent art space kunstraum modos-dever in Leipzig. Motherhood altered my sense of urgency and responsibility within my profession, so building a humanistic platform where artistic experimentation, theory and conversation coexist without hierarchy became a self-evident necessity. I since direct the space artistically and administratively.
Alongside this, I have been teaching and mentoring since 2018 in institutional and independent contexts. Art pedagogics is an ever-evolving tool through which I learn and think in collectivity.
I continue to exhibit internationally, working across institutional and self-organized frameworks, interested in keeping artistic work porous, attentive and structurally awake.
